About Bethlehem Highlanders Bagpipe Co.
Meeting during high school, the founding members of Bethlehem Highlanders, Eli, EJ, and Brady, were all part of the Liberty High School Grenadier Band Bagpipe Corps. After moving through the ranks and each serving as the Pipe Major to Liberty, they continued to play together after their time in the corps was fulfilled. Wanting to do more with their potential, an idea came together.
Bethlehem Highlanders was formed to bring the powerful and soulful sound of the Great Highland Bagpipes to all the moments that matter. The Highlanders hope to demonstrate passion and leave a lasting effect on every audience.
About us
EJ Powers has been playing the bagpipes since 2021. Serving as the pipe major of his band from '24 to '25, he led them as they marched in Disney World.
Elijah Quan has been playing the bagpipes since 2020, holding the Pipe Major position in his band from 2023 to 2024 before joining the Philadelphia District Pipe Band in 2024. Eli now competes in Pipe Band and solo competitions across the East Coast.
Brady Carvajal has been playing the pipes since 2022. For his pipe band, he served as Pipe Major for the 25' to 26' performance season, playing in the London Tattoo during the London Band Week.
